New faces at the conference

Moving Milestones in Metrology IV from the Netherlands to Italy attracted some new companies and faces to the conference. One of them was Technipes. They decided to sponsor the conference and they attended to “find out about metrology in the weighing sector”. Mr Barosi of Technipes tells about his experiences at the conference.

Mr Barosi: “To be honest, I did not know exactly what to expect from the conference, but I was looking for more information on metrology in Europe as well as worldwide. At the conference, I learned about some technical issues related to scales. The topics on periodical verification and software were of particular interest.”

Apart from the good content and information he found at the conference, Mr Barosi also found it very useful to be in contact with other stakeholders in the market: “It is important to see how we compare with others, and see how we can improve”.
